Will it fit? Check against the maker's own limits.
DeskSizer compares your exact monitor model, arm SKU and desk top against manufacturer-published limits — not rules of thumb. When a number is missing from the record, we say unknown and tell you how to get it. We never fill gaps with guesses.
What the checker catches that generic advice misses
- Minimum load, not just maximum. A light OLED ultrawide can be below a heavy-duty arm's minimum — the arm physically cannot hold height. Our reference case: the 49″ Odyssey OLED G9 (10.6 kg without stand, per Samsung's spec sheet) sits under both Ergotron HX pivots' minimum load.
- Version-specific pivot ranges. Ergotron HX HD and VHD pivots support different display depth windows — same "HX" family, different fit.
- Maker-stated desk bans. IKEA's US LAGKAPTEN page states the top is not suitable for installation of a screen stand (honeycomb paper core). Total load capacity does not change that.

What this is not
A pass means the values you entered satisfy the limits the manufacturer published in the documents we recorded, each cited with a verification date. It is not a physical installation approval, a structural assessment of your desktop, or a test of your exact unit. See methodology for every source and its limits.
